Last Friday, April 11, 2025, Binghamton 2 Degrees held their 2nd annual Climate Summit. As a part of the Housing Working Group, Rebuilding Together Southern Tier presented on our newly formed nonprofit, how our work relates to and can help homeowners be resilient to climate change, and met with community members and leaders.

Then this week, we learned that Binghamton 2 Degrees won a Campus Sustainability Award from the Association for Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education! Congratulations to all involved, most especially Chief Sustainability Officer at Binghamton University, Pamela Mischen, and our own board member, Sustainability Coordinator at Binghamton University, Ancilla Inocencio!
